Senior Data Analyst

Accountabilities

- Implementation of Analytical Solutions: Coordinate and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of analytical and visualization solutions using Power BI, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms.
- Business Partnering & Strategic Insight: Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities and shape analytical approaches that drive performance.
- Advanced Data Modeling & Engineering: Lead data model design and apply advanced SQL, DAX, and Power Query skills to architect reliable datasets.
- Project Management Perspective on Data and Analytics: Plan, manage, and deliver multiple analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement: Communicate complex findings effectively and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- AI & Innovation Leadership: Explore and apply Generative AI within analytics pipelines and partner with Data Scientists for predictive models.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with GDPR and promote high data quality across platforms.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering end-to-end analytical solutions with measurable business outcomes.
- Expert-level Power BI proficiency (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, performance optimization).
- Strong SQL capabilities for data wrangling, analysis, and automation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Strong project management skills: planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and delivery tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into analytical frameworks that drive impact.
- Deep understanding of business processes and performance metrics across commercial, marketing, or operational areas.
- Experience in the life sciences and/or healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of data structures, compliance, and terminology relevant to this sector.
- Experience working in cloud-based data environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a clear storytelling approach.
- Proven ability to mentor other analysts and influence data culture across teams.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (ie: Teallium, SFData Cloud, Treasure Data).
- Knowledge of Marketing Activation tools and its data model (Adobe Campaign, Twilio, Sengrid).

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs (GPTs, Claude, Gemini, etc.), and Transformer-based architectures.
- Experience applying AI techniques or models to business analytics problems (summarization, insight automation, anomaly detection).
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, dbt, Synapse, Databricks).
- Experience in predictive modeling, segmentation, and advanced analytics.
- Understanding of CRM/ERP data models, digital marketing data, and customer journeys.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (Tealium, Salesforce Data Cloud, Treasure Data) and marketing activation tools and its data models.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
- Awareness of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) and its implications for AI governance, compliance, and responsible model deployment.
