About the role
The Senior Commercial Finance Manager is a high impact business partner to cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access & Supply Chain to support Alexion ongoing growth journey. Reporting to Head of Finance – ANZ & China, this role is responsible for delivering high quality financial planning and analysis and decision support to Australian Leadership Team (ALT), business functions as well as to the regional & global finance teams. Building and leveraging great relationships with cross-functional teams is a key to success in this critical role which will enable value creation through “best in class” business partnering.
This role is a 12-month contract position to commence February 2025. It is a full time role based from Sydney.
Essential for the role
Significant experience in Financial/Management Accounting.
Business Partnership experience
Relevant Tertiary Qualification at Degree Level, preferably a professional accounting qualification.
Experience working in an international team, and/or in a matrixed environment
Excellent IT skills (MS Office, SAP) & knowledge of an ERP, SAP, Anaplan or other.
Desirable for the role
Pharmaceutical, Life science or similar industry experience
Experience working in Big 4
