What you’ll do
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be accountable for promoting two key products to GP’s in Townsville. Be the subject-matter expert and the link between our innovative solutions and the healthcare settings that need them most. This is your chance to be a scientific ambassador for AstraZeneca, equipped with the knowledge you'll need to keep pace with complex science and the latest changes in medical practice and therapeutics worldwide

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting our leading product portfolio to General Practitioners and Allied healthcare professionals 

  • Building long-term relationships through your genuine passion for the positive impacts these products have on patient’s health 

  • Analysing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes 

  • Completing administrative requirements and working within a set promotional budget accurately and within a timely manner 

  • Working as part of a collaborative team to optimise business impact

Essential for the role

  • Experience from within the Healthcare industry

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Science/Health related discipline

  • Proven successes in building strong external and internal relationships utilising strong communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to self-manage 

  • Ability and willingness to use different channels, technology and tools to engage with customers.

Desirable for the role

  • Previous experience in a GP sales role

  • Established relationships with the Townsville primary health network
