About the role
The Associate Director, Country Operations Manager (AD COM ) is responsible for the day-to-day management of a local team of clinical monitors and is responsible for planning and utilisation of staff resources, objective setting and performance development. The AD COM is responsible for their direct reports delivery to study expectations. 

Responsibilities also include ensuring operational trial deliverables across programs are completed according to timelines, operational procedures, quality standards, SOPs and guidelines. It is also expected that the AD COM may contribute to regional/global initiatives as delegated and may also take other responsibilities such as Project Manager related tasks.

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, preferably in life science, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as a CRA line manager from within a pharmaceutical/sponsor clinical research team
  • Strong leadership to drive team growth, development and support the local strategy implementation
  • Business acumen to understand company direction and drive the understanding at team level
  • Solution oriented attitude and ability to lead through ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity and assertiveness.
  • Manage change with a positive approach for self, team and business

Desirable for the role

  • Rare disease experience
  • Prior CRA and/or Project Management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the Monitoring Process.
