Engineering Technician – Zoladex Processing

12 Month Secondment/FTC

Introduction to role:

We are currently seeking Zoladex Processing Technicians at our Macclesfield campus. This role offers excellent challenges and rewards, providing training and experience in a fast-paced, lean-focused aseptic manufacturing environment. 

Accountabilities:
As an Engineering Technician, you will be based at our growing manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes and improving plant standards and reliability. You will ensure that GMP and SHE regulations are adhered to at all times. Your duties will include maintaining various pharmaceutical assets and processes, providing timely response to breakdowns, fault-finding and problem-solving, and managing improvement activities. You will also progress project commissioning and continuous improvement activities in line with asset plans and customer requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation subject areas (Maintenance and Fault Finding)

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working with automated machinery
- Operating knowledge of procedures and compliance with GMP & SHE requirements
- Familiarity with CMMS (SAP PM), IT systems such as Drawing/Document Management Systems, Microsoft office, Building Management Systems, PCs, PLCs
- Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge of Project / Change management

Please note that this role is internally aligned to SA91 Grade 10.
