PMO and Performance Business Analyst

Speke, Liverpool

Reporting to the Speke Site PMO Lead, this role is accountable for managing all aspects of project business case development, benefits tracking, and capital expenditure to support site efficiency and performance. As PMO & Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in integrating strategy, scorecard, and Tier KPIs, acting as the main contact for performance data and reporting. You will champion best practices in project and performance management, working closely with Operational Excellence to continuously improve how site KPIs and performance insights drive effective decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, cGMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Operational Excellence and continuous improvement within PMO and Performance functions.
  • Support and oversee business case development, capital planning, and project sponsorship.
  • Track and report capital expenditure; partner with Finance on budgets.
  • Provide training and guidance on capital management and business case preparation.
  • Manage benefits and savings tracking, ensuring accurate measurement and reporting.
  • Deliver performance data and insights to support effective decision making.
  • Enhance PMO efficiency and represent the function in cross-departmental initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Deployment of project management techniques 
  • Development, validation and presentation of project data
  • Forecasting, tracking and reporting of capital expenditure and project budgets.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboard creation, and integration with Power BI or other data visualization tools for performance reporting.
  • Good listening and interpersonal skills
  • Working and influencing within a matrix organisation
  • Good organisational skills and a structured approach to tasks
  • Excellent workshop and individual/group training facilitation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preparation of clear executive reports and project documentation
  • Creation and delivery of presentations tailored to stakeholders in different parts/levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding project teams in highly regulated environments, ensuring adherence to cGMP and internal procedures.
  • Skilled at quantitative benefits tracking and savings measurement for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to collect, validate, and synthesise large volumes of operational performance data from multiple sources, ensuring timely, actionable insights for decision makers.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • PRINCE2 or data analysis qualification
  • Lean tools and principles deployment
