We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead for our team in Lisbon. In this role you will be leading the recruitment for hiring diverse capabilities and roles into Lisbon aligned with the strategic workforce plan and the recruitment demand plan.

In this role you will be accountable for the delivery of new hiring into the site, through a small team & RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) partnership. A very hands-on role you will involved in end to end recruitment activity, partnering with business team members, & local/Global HR – from recruitment strategy meeting to sourcing the capabilities and skills we need, partnering on interviews - through to offer management & onboarding – ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

You will work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition (TAq) Centre of Expertise (CoE) to align operating model, standards & processes, implementing systems, as well as preparing Recruitment marketing campaigns and local Inclusion & Diversity strategy. In line with the business needs you will also support the creation and hiring into early talent programmes.

Main duties and accountabilities

  • Delivering the recruitment demand forecast for Lisbon. Running the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing strategy, job advertisement writing and posting, candidate selection, interviews, offer proposals, and reference checks

  • Acting as a talent partner to Hiring Managers – providing talent insights (through our inhouse research team), data on skills availability in the market and compiling recruitment strategies to hire the right talent at the right time and at the right cost. Delivering cultural awareness and interview approach & training as part of their education.

  • Adopting & embedding talent acquisition processes to Global standards locally – including utilisation of ATS system (workday). CRM (Candidate Relationship Management) system (Beamery) and other available tools including Paradox, Textio, LinkedIn

  • Provide timely data analytics and reporting to the business and Global CoE on the progress and performance of TAq in the site.

  • Ensuring an inclusive, positive candidate experience through ensuring effective communication during the moments that matter, keeping them informed during selection process, providing feedback in a timely manner, supporting relocation/immigration, and keeping them engaged with the AstraZeneca brand whether successful in a process or not

  • Partner with third party providers for specific recruiting projects (RPO or agency suppliers)

  • Support in the planning and being responsible for the execution of our various Employer Branding plans and ensure consistency in our brand messaging, positioning, and materials to these audiences

  • Handle all activities according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures, and Portuguese legislation

Crucial requirements

  • Extensive proven experience with full life-cycle recruitment within a multinational company – high volume shared service centre experience as well as Employer Branding Activities will be an advantage

  • Strong collaborator management & influencing skills – consultative approach

  • Strategic mentality with the ability to see opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Results oriented, including the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Proactive, self- driven, resilient, hard-working, and inclusive

  • Experience in leading a small team of inhouse/RPO recruiters

  • Digital approach with a passion for new innovative technologies/AI

  • Experience of workday/ ATS systems

  • Written & spoken fluency in English and Portuguese

A bachelor's degree / Post Graduate Qualification in HR related specialism as well as previous Pharma experience would be desirable.
