Accountabilities
Medical Information Leadership: Deliver AstraZeneca’s updated medical information to healthcare professionals across multiple channels, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timely engagement that supports better clinical decisions.
Clinical Study Management: Plan, initiate, and manage clinical studies to agreed quality, cost, and time standards; provide full monitoring services from start to finish to maintain scientific integrity and operational excellence.
Project Delivery: Define scope, set milestones, and complete projects; provide clear, concise progress reports that drive alignment and enable swift, informed decisions.
Team Development and Coaching: Share knowledge and coach colleagues to strengthen team capability, building consistent ways of working and elevating scientific standards.
Patient Safety and Compliance: Ensure patient safety and uphold adverse event reporting standards in all interactions and activities, embedding compliance into daily practice.
Named Patient Supply Governance: Manage the provision of named patient supplies in line with regulatory and ethical obligations, ensuring appropriate access and documentation.
Pharmacovigilance Coordination: Coordinate pharmacovigilance systems to meet regulatory requirements and AstraZeneca standards, ensuring robust, timely safety oversight
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharma / Medical
At least Three Years of experience in a multinational environment
At least One Year of experience as MSL / Medical Advisor
Fluency in spoken and written English language
Cardiovascular / Renal / Metabolic Experience
Desirable Skills/Experience
Pharmaceutical experience is an asset
Working towards MD/PHD
Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
Knowledge of legislation relevant to Pharmaceutical Ecosystem
Deep interest and understanding of science
Strong collaborator and reflects strong influence capability
Possess effective communication and facilitation skills
