Accountabilities
As a Medical Advisor in the Gyneco-Oncology therapeutic area, you will be a core member of the brand team, working closely with the medical affairs manager to take the medical lead through building scientific partnerships with Key External Experts (KEE) and other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading strategic and educational medical affairs projects.
- Building and executing pre-launch strategies.
- Engaging with key external experts in the therapeutic area.
- Providing key medical input to marketing, sales, and market access teams.
- Delivering high-quality, up-to-date scientific and medical information to customers.
- Continuously building robust scientific and medical expertise on the therapeutic area, AstraZeneca products, and competitors.
- Maintaining a significant field presence while being office-based.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Medical or Pharmacist Degree or scientific degree with PhD\ DMD\ MD\ DVM
- Significant and robust experience with searching, handling, assimilating, synthesizing, reporting, and presenting scientific data in the healthcare sector
- National mobility and flexibility (organization and attendance of evening meetings)
- Excellent interpersonal relationships and communication skills
- Takes initiative and is proactive while conscious of compliance and process rules in the company
- Presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of therapeutic area or the ability to acquire this knowledge rapidly. Broad employability in other TAs is an asset
- Medical integrity and ethical balance
- Fluent knowledge of Hebrew and English (verbal and written)
- Two years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical role)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience in and knowledge of pharmaceutical medical and marketing processes
- Experience in Oncology
- Experience in moderation of meetings with HCPs
- Business Acumen
- Proven Project management skills
- Budget management experience
- Ability to lead a team
