Introduction to role
The Key Account Managerrole for Tezspire in the South-Center region offers the chance to combine scientific insight with commercial impact! Working within our Respiratory team in Israel, the position focuses on building strong partnerships with pulmonologists, allergists and ENT specialists to improve outcomes for patients with severe disease. The role centers on understanding the full patient journey, translating clinical evidence into meaningful discussions, and shaping local access and adoption of an innovative biologic therapy. It is a position for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and accountability, and who wants to see their work directly influence standards of care.
Accountabilities
In this role, responsibility spans the full spectrum of key account management for Tezspire across the South-Center territory. This includes mapping and prioritising key hospital and clinic accounts, understanding their specific needs, and designing tailored engagement plans that support appropriate on-label use. The KAM will lead the development of long-term, trust-based relationships with specialists and their teams, using deep product and disease knowledge to support evidence-based decisions. A strong focus will be placed on analysing territory data, identifying growth opportunities and executing targeted activities that drive sustainable sales performance. Collaboration is essential: working closely with the Sales Manager, cross-functional colleagues and other Respiratory teams to align on strategy, coordinate activities and deliver a consistent customer experience. The role also involves ensuring all interactions and educational initiatives comply with AstraZeneca’s ethical standards, while effectively managing budgets and resources. Continuous learning is expected, including completion of all training and product certifications, to stay ahead in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving therapeutic area.
Essential Skills/Experience
- At least 3 years' experience as a Sales Rep. working with Specialists
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience working with biologic drugs
- Experience in pulmonology and/or allergic field
- Established relationships with local rheumatologist specialists
- Experience working in a highly competitive environment
