What you’ll do

Job Description / Capsule

  • Assist BUD in development the marketing plan to drive brand strategy, achieve ambition, and strengthen MS of brand in market.

  • Lead the execution marketing strategies: key projects and activities

  • Collaborate closely with CFT (Sales, Medical, KAM…) to ensure marketing activities are implemented effectively, comply with SOP, and achieve business goals.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Assist BU Head with the development of marketing plans, marketing & sales activities, and promotional materials for specific therapeutic areas/franchise or brands.

  • Assist BU Head with the development of budgets and monitoring of expenses.

  • Support BU Head to manage brand/product, collect insight and data analyse competitive performance and trends.

  • Develop marketing & sale materials aligned with strategies.

  • Educate sales representatives on products and competitors.

  • Coordinate and/or conduct special studies and promotional projects.

  • Collaborate with field forces to ensure flawless and aligned execution of the brands’ plan.

  • Cross-functional working to identify and evaluate new sources of business and growth for the brand.

  • Develop and deliver innovative solutions and promotional levers for professional customers.

  • Work with training partner and brand agencies to support message pull-through and key Salesforce training of marketing strategy, messaging, and materials.

  • Build tactical plans based on the brand strategic plan and get approval. Leading all aspects of tactical implementations, including timelines.

  • Deliver other tasks/ cross-functional projects assigned by the company.

  • Adherence to AZ global policy, AZVN compliance for external interaction, code of conduct, and industry code of marketing practices.

Brand Plan Execution:

1. CUSTOMER: Develops actionable segmentation and communicates with the client on day-to-day execution across channels focusing primarily on customer needs and budget

2. ENGAGEMENT PLAN: Actively engages with the client on implementation based on their preference and behaviours

3. KEY TRENDS: Anticipates key trends to better understand the market environment

4. BUSINESS ACUMEN: Participates in the operational budget planning and tracking of financial utilization

1. PROJECT LEADERSHIP: Applies sound business acumen and valuable insights to drive results through optimal decision making, influencing without a formal leadership position

2. TEAMING: Builds cross-functional capability, leveraging differences and establishing collaborative networks to contribute to high-functioning, cohesive teams

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Medicine

  • Scientific background or affinity for scientific information

  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience, with at least 2 years of marketing or adjacent marketing experience

  • Exceptional analytics capability

  • Ability to think and execute innovative marketing plans

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good communication Skills

  • Good planning and Organisational Skills

  • Acts with a sense of accountability and urgency

  • Knowledge and experience in navigating the regulatory approval process and other relevant codes of practice

  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility and a proven ability to deal with complexity under time pressure

  • Experience and effectiveness in the presentation of marketing messages

  • A flexible, team orientated attitude, willing to contribute own skills to deliver AstraZeneca priority projects
