We are now looking for a Market Supply Partner to join the EUCAN Demand Team, based in Prague and supporting Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). In this role, you will work at the interface between Operations and Commercial, helping to ensure reliable supply, strong market intelligence, and effective product lifecycle execution across a complex and evolving portfolio.
What you’ll do
As Market Supply Partner, you will act as a key operational point of contact between the Marketing Companies in CEE and the Supply Organization for supply and market intelligence with focus on NPI and growth products. Working in close partnership with the Market Company Account Manager, you will support a region characterized by pace, complexity, and opportunity, with a strong focus on launch and growth products, operational excellence, and proactive risk management.
This role offers broad exposure across supply chain, demand planning, product lifecycle management, and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to build strong regional partnerships and contribute to a business-critical area within AstraZeneca.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the key operational interface between Marketing Companies and the global supply organization for assigned portfolios.
- Lead demand validation activities in close partnership with commercial teams, ensuring that market intelligence and forecast changes are understood and reflected appropriately.
- Manage short-term supply issues, projected stock risks, and exceptional demand changes in collaboration with sites, Network Supply Planning, Global Logistics, and local stakeholders.
- Support and contribute to market pre-IBP and IBP processes, bringing together demand insights, risks, and operational actions.
- Drive or support new product introductions, switches, late-stage customization, pack changes, and other product lifecycle activities.
- Monitor forecast quality, supply performance, and key planning parameters, identify improvement opportunities and ensuring planning systems reflect true demand.
- Contribute to regional and global initiatives, continuous improvement work, and new ways of working, including Lean-based practices and process development.
Essential requirements
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data, reports, and planning tools.
- Understanding of supply chain planning and demand management processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and cultures.
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize critical tasks, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, launch readiness, or operational supply planning.
- Collaborative working style and confidence in driving discussions, alignment, and follow-up actions.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with SAP, OMP, V4CAST, or similar planning systems is an advantage.
- Fluent English & Czech.
Desirable requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, demand planning, or market supply.
- Knowledge of product launches, switches, or pack change processes.
- Project management experience.
- Commercial understanding or experience working closely with market-facing teams.
- Experience using Lean tools or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Additional European language skills or cultural awareness across European markets.
