Accountabilities:

As a Study Physician within the Lung Cancer Franchise, you will be responsible for medical affairs-led and externally sponsored studies, Early access programs, reporting to the  Global Medical Head for IO Lung Cancer. Your duties will include addressing patient-specific and study-wide specific medical queries, supporting the development of formal responses to queries from Regulatory Authorities, Ethics Committees, IRB (central and local) on a global basis, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to develop and manage relationships with key external authorities, research partners, and investigators.

Essential Skills/Experience:
•    Medical Doctor (Oncology strongly preferred)
•    4+ years of experience in a clinical role within the pharmaceutical industry

•  Strong understanding of drug development and commercialization processes, including understanding of clinical and real-world outcomes research 

•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
•    Validated ability to generate, analyze, and interpret clinical trials and published data
•    Ability to lead multiple projects and products simultaneously
•    Proven track record to work efficiently within a highly matrixed environment
•    Strong leadership skills and business acumen
•    Shows initiative, innovation, and critical thinking

Desirable Skills/Experience:
•    Board Certification, experience/certification in oncology
•    Current or previous Clinical experience in Thoracic oncology
•    Meaningful work experience in Oncology Medical Affairs
•    Experience developing and/or launching a new pharmaceutical product
•    Broad cross-functional pharmaceutical experience
•    Contextual understanding of drug development
•    Ability to interact efficiently with both commercial and scientific colleagues
•    Willingness to travel internationally

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $249,185.60 - $373,778.40 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
