Senior Director of Bioprocess Technology & Engineering - BPD
You can impact the world with science! Join us so that we can provide lifesaving treatments to patients around the world, including treatments and vaccines for COVID19.
As a Senior Director in Bioprocess Technology and Engineering, you would lead a team of people responsible for the design and control of bioreactors for mammalian cells, as well as the late-stage characterization of harvest and clarification. In addition, your team would be key contributors for the design of a high-cell density bioreactor that is at the heart of our next generation manufacturing platform. This responsibility includes the design and control of AMBR15, AMBR250, 3L, and pilot and commercial scale bioreactors. Your team would be responsible for a cohesive scale-up and scale-down strategy in support of the cell-culture process development group. You would also be expected to design and implement control strategies for all downstream operations using mechanistic models. The advanced process control would include virus inactivation, filtration, and chromatography.
You will have the possibility of leading a CMC team and sitting on a global clinical development team representing Biopharmaceutical Development.
You will present at internal departmental and cross-functional meetings, as well as to CMOs. You would be expected to present at external symposia, as well as publish.
