We are seeking a Product Director to lead a team in its continuous development of Evinova Pipeline Management (EPM). EPM is an existing product with a large user base that enables real-time oversight of a biopharma companies R&D pipeline from portfolio management through clinical trial and commercial execution, with AI-driven prediction and insight. You will be responsible for developing a refreshed multi-year product strategy that harnesses the latest potential of AI, ensuring the product meets both regulatory and customer requirements within the biopharmaceutical industry. With a solid understanding of the clinical pipeline process, you will guide the product's continuous development, ensuring it addresses critical needs in the pharmaceutical sector and becomes a key player in the market.Evinova Product drives balanced growth, with the Product Director role playing a relevant role in driving continuous innovation with clear, measurable outcomes. 

Evinova Product roles focus on these core proficiencies:

  • Provide Strategic Direction:Provide strategic product leadership by translating high-level business strategy into product strategy, ensuring that the product aligns with business goals and delivers measurable business value.

  • Collaboration & Influence:Enable customer and collaborator management by serving as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and effective communication with all collaborators, including executives, customers, and internal teams.

  • Drive Product Discovery and Ownership:Define and maintain a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals, market opportunities, and customer needs. Develop a clear prioritization model to ensure the team is working on the right initiatives in the right order.

  • Oversee Design, Product Delivery and Deployment: Define, track, and optimize product success metrics (e.g., usage, adoption, and revenue impact). Use data and analytics to drive product decisions and continuously improve product performance.

  • Write clear, detailed product requirements in the form of user stories and epics. Ensure that all teams have an exchanged opinions of what’s being built and why.

  • Drive Product Discovery and Ownership:Lead discovery efforts to uncover customer difficulties, opportunities, and areas for innovation. Use insights to develop product hypotheses, run experiments, and validate product features with a data-driven approach.

  • Ensure Strong Product Knowledge and Go-to-Market Strategy: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitors, and new technologies to ensure the product remains competitive and meets the evolving needs of customers.

  • Drive Commercial and Financial Product Outcomes:Plan and complete product launches, including marketing strategies, customer communication, and internal enablement. Monitor post-launch performance to ensure success

  • Provide Influence and Leadership Across the Teams and Company:Build a collaborative and inclusive team environment, providing mentorship, guidance, and direction to team members.Feed collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product execution and go-to-market readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience
  • Strong background and knowledge with the pharmaceutical clinical development pipeline.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products in an enterprise or SaaS setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in translating business strategy into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior collaborators and executives.
  • High level of technical acumen; ability to engage with engineering teams on detailed technical discussions.
  • Experience with developing and testing based on research and analysis to validate product features. 
  • Ability to write product requirements in the form of user stories and epics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Desired Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with deep knowledge of regulatory environments and industry-specific challenges.
  • Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Background in UX/UI design, with a keen understanding of user-centric design principles.
  • Some experience with coding or ability to communicate effectively with development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $167,772.00 - $251,658.00. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
