Introduction to role:
Are you ready to make a difference in the world of oncology? As a Global Oncology Medical Communications & Information Content Strategist, you will be at the forefront of executing US & Global MC&I brand and therapeutic area deliverables. Your role will involve managing and developing scientific content for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with oncologic principles and scientific narratives. Reporting directly to an MC&I Director, you'll collaborate closely to create Core Communication Points and support content creators in meeting business needs. Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering on a robust pipeline of work, utilizing new efficiencies and resources to prioritize and manage capacity effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating scientific and business expertise relevant to therapeutic areas.

  • Translating complex science into compelling storytelling messages.

  • Applying digital expertise and leveraging AI for content creation and delivery.

  • Assisting MC&I Directors in planning and executing content strategy plans.

  • Developing and maintaining content plans integrated into iMAP.

  • Staying updated with therapeutic area trends, regulatory changes, and compliance.

  • Leading launch and congress deliverables with oversight from Directors.

  • Collaborating with Medical Affairs and key stakeholders.

  • Managing vendors/agencies to achieve business goals within budget.

  • Providing staffing support for MC&I booths at scientific meetings.

  • Ensuring quality content delivery within your focus area.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • PharmD or Phd required

  • 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry-based Drug/Medical Information/Scientific Communications or equivalent industry experience, including medical communications agencies

  • Translate complex science into storytelling messaging

  • Excellent strategic, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills

  • Ability to apply local regulatory (e.g. FDA), legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information delivery

  • Medical/technical writing experience using AI and digital principles

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Vendor/Agency Management

  • Ability to work with agility in a matrices/complex and evolving environment

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Clinical Pharmacy experience with patient care exposure

  • Experience working with Commercial or Brand Teams

  • Biomedical communicator

  • Managed Markets or HEOR experience

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $138,908.80 - $208,363.20 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
