Insights & Analytics Senior Specialist
Location: Gaithersburg, USA
Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite
Responsible for translating business problems into robust analytical and data visualization solutions using established tools and frameworks. Collaborate with internal partners to support actionable insights, ensure compliance with quality and governance standards, and keeps current with emerging trends in analytics. The role requires strong data analysis skills, technical proficiency with tools like Python and R, and effective communication—typically within a local, cross-functional environment.
Typical Accountabilities
• Translate business problems into analytics or data solutions using established frameworks and tools.• Develop and/or supports analytical and data visualization solutions using business intelligence, reporting, and analytical software (such as R, Python, and database tools) for scientific and business applications within a defined project scope.• Clearly and objectively communicate insights and results, along with their uncertainties and limitations, to partners.• Develop ongoing knowledge of trends, standard processes, and new developments in analytics, data analysis, or data visualization.• Implement governance frameworks, standards, and quality practices to ensure compliance and robust delivery of work.• Support internal partners (business, IT, project, or data teams) in the delivery and value realization of data and analytical solutions.• Operate as an individual contributor with no direct or indirect people management responsibility.• Work within remit of their own country.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: Bachelor’s (or undergraduate) degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Data Management, quantitative, or business domain), or demonstrable equivalent experience; Demonstrated experience performing data analysis, including requirements definition, identification of critical data elements, setting data quality criteria, and drawing/presenting conclusions to partners; Familiarity with data analytic and visualization tools (such as R, Python, and databases); Strong written and verbal communication and consultancy skills.
Desirable: Post-graduate degree or advanced study in IT, Data Management, or a quantitative/scientific field, or equivalent; Experience in life sciences and healthcare; Experience working in a complex, global organization.

Internal: Engages with peers, business and IT leaders, and technical teams in delivering data capabilities and promoting standard processes.
External: Collaborates with outsource partners, support vendors, and peers across professional groups.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $93,868.00 - $140,802.00 USD Annual. Annual and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
