Clinical Supplies Data Analyst Summer Intern
We are seeking undergraduate junior students majoring in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Use ETL tools to extract data from LCS source systems , perform data modelling/transformation and data visualization using BI tools to automate business inventory management processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders, formulate approaches to solve problems and use algorithms and data sources in the context of business needs.
Utilize analytical and technical skills to support and develop dashboard for LCS functional area to support and streamline drug delivery to patients.
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate junior students majoring in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Knowledge of data analysis and manipulation using Python and understanding of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy is a plus.
Understanding of SQL and database management, including the ability to write queries, optimize database query is a plus.
Basic understanding of cleaning, processing, and transforming large datasets for analysis and reporting purposes is a plus.
Ability to work with stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models, and present findings is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is a plus.
Organizational skills, demonstrated flexibility, and an ability to work accurately within broad guidance to achieve deliverables is a plus.
Possesses good attention to detail whilst also demonstrating skills for organizing, planning, coordination, teamwork, and communication (oral, written and interpersonal).
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 3-5 days a week.This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
