Job Title: Supply Chain Advanced Data Analyst

Introduction to Role:

Are you ready to extract insights from sophisticated data sets and enable data-driven decision making in a global supply chain? As a Supply Chain Advanced Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of storytelling with data, using digital tools like SQL or Python to manipulate data, and visualizing data to affect positive outcomes on business processes. You will work closely with other analysts, data scientists, developers, business partners, end-users, and senior leaders across the globe to identify improvement opportunities, develop powerful dashboards and executive summaries, and support projects that enhance business value creation. This role will expose you to end-to-end supply chain processes and the science behind supply chain management. It provides a unique opportunity to develop functional and technical knowledge, along with personal development.

Accountabilities:

You will be expected to have good knowledge of different aspects of supply chain analytics, with the ability to dive deep into specific areas to meet the needs of the project, analyze data and develop recommendations, and coordinate and project manage activities as required for the success of the different initiatives. The role will enhance capabilities in the field of communication, collaborator management, and influencing, while developing strong technical knowledge and deep understanding of supply chain management and logistics. It will also provide pathways into data science projects and experience.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

  • At least 8 years of work experience in the Business Intelligence environment for Supply Chain (ideally with experience of forecasting, demand planning, inventory planning and warehouse management)

  • Strong working experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Microsoft Dataverse and Power Virtual agents)

  • Effective data visualization capabilities, including the use of tools such as PowerBI, Qlikview, Qliksense

  • Experience working with analytic tools and languages, including Python, SQL, Julia, Go, or R

  • Examination of business process and implementation of Automation Process (RPA)

  • Strong knowledge on Data Integration, Warehousing, Modelling, Presentation Tactics and concepts

  • Demonstrable ability to work with large and complex datasets using various database management tools

  • Demonstrable ability to foster 2-way communication and liaison with multiple collaborators in a global organization.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Professional certifications in any of the widely used BI tools.

  • Experience using graph database frameworks, like Neo4J or AWS Neptune

  • Experience interacting with Snowflake

  • Exposure to working with key metrices and critical metrics of Supply chain processes like Demand planning, Supply planning, etc.

  • Academic/Professional background in Supply chain management
