Job Description / Capsule

The Enterprise Technology Services deliver end to end Infrastructure and Operations support across multiple capabilities to the Organization with the Automation team being a key driver in overall strategy to ensure our Operations and more efficient and error free.

The Automation specialist helps enable Infratructure teams to identify, develop & maintain creative, efficient and autonomous solutions that solve various Business problems across multiple technology services.

Collaboration with various stakeholders, presentation of implemented solutions and creation of design documents are an essential way of providing specialized support to the Cloud and Infrastructure support teams

Typical Accountabilities

  • We’re looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer with 5-10 Years of experience developing scripts, workflows and Solutions across the Infrastructure capabilities (EUC, Platform, Cloud, Data)
  • Deep experience in Git/GitHub, Ansible and Jenkins Automation/Orchestration platforms is a must.
  • Good experience with consuming communication protocols (REST primarily &/ SNMP, SOAP)
  • Strong in-depth programming skills in Python with Shell scripting.
  • Exposure to Dev-Ops Platform like Ansible & Jenkins is preferred.
  • Understanding of All Infrastructure topologies from traditional Server/VM/Switches to modern Cloud & virtualization setups
  • Experience creating solution design drafts, flowcharts/Workflows and solution presentation decks
  • Independent problem solver who is able to identify the right tools, scripting/Programming language and integration solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Exposure to additional Orchestration Platforms (ServiceNow Orchestration/Workflows, MF OO, SCORCH) would be an advantage
  • Exposure to Tanium, Morpheus, Splunk and Python for Data Analytics would be an advantage

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent or achievement of recognized professional level
  • Passion towards Continuous learning on automation & work culture.
  • 5-10 Years of Infrastructure and Automation experience
  • Python with Shell Scripting.
  • Agile, cloud and DevOps tools(Ansible & Jenkins) experience
  • Web Framework & Front end development is added advantage
  • Network Infrastructure Automation exposure is added advantage
  • Bitbucket/GitHub
  • Rest API/SOAP
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Pro-active and Predictive analysis skills
  • Timeline, milestone planning and project management experience
  • Experience creating and delivering executive level presentations

Desirable

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed.
