Accountabilities
As a Senior Consultant - ETL Administration, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, testing, and deploying automation solutions within the CICD space. You'll analyze and enhance ETL Data Integration standards, optimize performance through automation, and support the development of automation scripts using Groovy for CICD and Ansible for infrastructure and ETL Service. Your collaborative approach will be key to troubleshooting environment, software, and application-level issues across our global network.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Administering the ETL Platform including:
o Configuration and Licensing
o User Management
o Project Creation (including GitHub repositories)
o EC2 machines and Kubernetes
o Managing Software Updates/Patches
o Major version migration
• 8+ years administering Enterprise ETL platforms and working with ETL Data Integration in an enterprise-scale environment.
• 2+ years of working experience in platforms like DBT, Fivetran, and DataOps.Live.
• Technical support to applications on troubleshooting Environment, software, and application-level issues.
• Knowledge and experience of working on Unix shell scripting or Python script.
• Experience troubleshooting or debugging on Linux server is required.
• Knowledge and experience on AWS Cloud ecosystem.
• ETL License Management.
• Design and Code Reviews.
• Aiding in the establishment of team development best practices.
• Data warehousing and database design concepts.
• Prior experience of Migration and Patching activity.
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Maintain and develop CI/CD pipeline using Groovy scripts.
• Maintain and develop Ansible scripts for ETL service and infrastructure management.
• Design and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring, application support activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.
• A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, and resilience.
• Willing to be involved in all areas of deployment process including testing and release planning.
• Eager to learn and develop new tech skills as required.
