Accountabilities
In this dynamic role, you will be accountable for delivering platform services using agile methodologies. You will provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and support to Platform Engineers, programs, project teams, and capability networks. Your responsibilities will include leading project execution, resource deployment, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. You will design and code solutions, work with stakeholders to identify requirements, manage test case development, and ensure compliance with guidelines and standards. Additionally, you will maintain awareness of industry trends, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, coach and mentor engineers, and foster collaboration within and across teams.
Essential Skills/Experience
Experience with cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting (preferably AWS and VMware vSphere)
Proven Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Crowd) Data Center Administration (Deploying new systems, Platform Upgrades)
Experience with MFALM Administration
Experience with MF LRE Administration
Technical Authority in DevOps Practices & techniques
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed
Quick learner, demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, programming/scripting languages as necessary
Technical Degree (B.E/B.Tech)
Experience with at least one Tomcat/WebLogic/Node.js
Experience with at least one of Oracle, Postgres, MYSQL
Experience with at least one of Ansible
Expert in Linux or Windows administration
Expert in scripting using Shell Script/Python/PowerShell
Expertise with variety of build, release and management processes Jenkins/GitHub Actions
Expert in DVCS such as Git
Knowledge of build release and configuration management practices, including branch-based development and patch/merging oriented workflow.
