As a SAP Senior Consultant for ATTP based in Chennai, you will shape and run the capabilities that keep our medicines traceable, compliant and moving swiftly through a complex, worldwide supply chain.

You will join a high‑impact technology team that connects science with data and modern platforms to accelerate how we deliver life‑changing therapies. Working across multiple SAP landscapes and markets, you will own critical ATTP functions end to end—design, configuration, validation and operations—so our products reach patients safely and on time. Accountabilities:

  • ATTP Solution Ownership: Lead the design, configuration and support of SAP ATTP to deliver secure serialization, aggregation and traceability across global markets.
  • Serialization Compliance: Embed GS1 standards and country regulations in system design and processes to ensure audit‑ready compliance and patient safety.
  • Business Partnering: Engage proactively with supply chain, quality, packaging and logistics stake-holders to clarify requirements and translate them into robust SAP solutions.
  • Integration Leadership: Design and support integrations between SAP ATTP and SAP/non‑SAP systems, L3/L4 partners and regulatory hubs to enable end‑to‑end process integrity.
  • Change and Enhancements: Deliver high‑quality changes, from impact assessment and solution documentation through build, testing, validation and release, with clear progress updates.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Triage, resolve and prevent incidents in line with governance processes, driving root‑cause remediation and continuous improvement.
  • Validation and Documentation: Work in a regulated environment conforming to quality and financial compliance requirements, producing complete, audit‑ready documentation across the solution lifecycle.
  • Cross‑Module Process Enablement: Ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules to support efficient, compliant product supply and distribution.
  • Ways of Working: Apply ITIL and Application Lifecycle Management practices; leverage Solution Manager and modern tooling to improve reliability and speed.
  • Mentorship and Team Contribution: Guide and coach junior team members; aid in spreading expertise and standards that scale across regions.
  • Global Operations Support: Work optimally with globally distributed teams and provide shift coverage to maintain 24x7 business continuity.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • 6-8 years of SAP functional experience in the IT industry and 4-6 years of relevant experience in ATTP/Serialization.
  • Broad functional knowledge in your domain and in-depth technical knowledge in SAP ATTP (Advance Track & Trace for Pharma) module.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and supporting SAP landscapes.
  • Solid grasp of business processes in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical domain.
  • Good understanding of GS1 Standards and other Standardization in Product Packaging & Logistics supply.
  • Detailed knowledge in Product Supply & Distribution in the Supply Chain.
  • Ability to understand business functional specifications and prepare Solution Documentation for the proposed SAP Solution.
  • Exposure to highly customized SAP environments and working on collaborate with non-SAP systems.
  • Clear comprehension of the role SAP modules play in end-to-end business process integration.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
  • Ability to work in large and diverse teams.
  • Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.
  • Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
  • Should be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well versed in English. Excellent spoken and written skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience working in a Globally distributed team.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and integration with SAP CPI/PI/PO, EWM and TM.
  • Hands‑on integration between ATTP and L3/L4 serialization connections and oversight hubs (e.g., EU Hub, DSCSA).
  • Knowledge of EPICS standards and best - practices for aggregation, verification and returns.
  • Experience with automated testing, validation tooling and audit readiness in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability for interfaces, queues and batch jobs.
  • Continuous improvement using analytics, scripting or low‑code automation to reduce incidents and cycle time.
  • Prior involvement in global rollouts, cutovers and hypercare across time zones.
  • Additional language capabilities to collaborate with global business users.
