The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

We are seeking a high-calibre Business Analyst to join our axial product team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our SAP analytics vision and technical execution. You won’t just gather requirements; you will lead the strategic assessment and delivery of features within the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) platform. As a key member of the product workstream, you will lead all aspects of the end-to-end lifecycle of features within SAP analytics platform from performing impact assessments on quarterly release cycles to driving the feature roadmaps. Your mission is to ensure our analytics capabilities are not only technically sound but are strategically "landed" to drive maximum business value and user adoption.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with partners to understand needs of the analytics platform
Work closely with various technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of analytics processes and capabilities required to build and govern analytics
Conduct rapid impact assessments of quarterly SAP releases to identify high-value features.
Apply the "Value vs. Readiness" matrix to prioritize features for the development cycle.
Drive the infrastructure readiness and operating model requirements for new features.
Continuously monitor and update processes, security role impacts to reflect changes in business requirements or technology.
Proactively find opportunities where features can solve specific business pain points in EPO areas, driving higher adoption rates.
Conduct feature demos, "What’s New" sessions, and internal marketing to promote adoption across EPO (Enterprise Process Owner) areas.
Essential for the role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ERP projects or analytics process mapping.
Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Knowledge of modern data analytics platforms and reporting tools.
Ability to map complex business requirements to standard platform features,
Good communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to produce high-quality written documents such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge base articles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix team environment.
Desirable for the role
Previous experience in a large scale roll out - SAC and Datasphere implementation.
Familiarity with backlog management such as exposure to Jira (or a similar tool).
