About the role
The Adobe Analytics Implementation specialist plays an integral role to ensure analytic/metrics plan is implemented properly. This person will be involved in the overall process from understanding the metric tagging plan, testing, maintaining and auditing website tags. Work closely with various teams to set up designs of tags, measurements, monitor metrics, and analyze implementation success.
Must be well versed in creating and deploying Analytics & Marketing Tags using a Tag Management system like Tealium IQ and should be able to apply critical thinking and decision-making skills. This person must possess superb communication, organizational, time management and social skills and should have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The Adobe Analytics Implementation specialist will be undertaking activities such as:
Working with key business collaborators to understand the measurement & reporting requirements
Building a sustainable Adobe analytics implementation and reporting capability meeting business requirements
Implementation of 3rd party media tags like Floodlights, Facebook pixels, etc
Completing agreed implementation activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Providing insight and analysis into service quality, continuous improvement areas, and highlighting any key issues / risks
GCO and business collaborators have high expectations for quality and efficiency. As such, the Adobe analytics implementation specialist must be adept at managing multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities, while ensuring quality and timely work for our end customers.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Work in collaboration with technology team and analysts to determine and implement best Adobe Analytics instrumentation, ensure business requirements are met and data capture is clean
Develop Web Analytics tag for Websites and deploy
Deploying tags using Tealium IQ Tag Management tool
Develop and modify JavaScript code and Adobe Analytics plugin to support integration across digital properties
Creating technical specification of Adobe Analytics tagging
Maintain documentation of technical implementations and provide spec explanations
Auditing the tags periodically and maintain audit report for same
Validate and debug implementation and follow up to resolve issues
Handle collaborator requests at various stages of development, testing and launch of websites and webpages.
Essential Skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Computer Science or Quantitative Studies
Excellent Communication Skills, with ability to clearly Work in collaboration with technology team and analysts to determine and implement best Adobe Analytics instrumentation, ensure business requirements are met and data capture is clean
Highly organized, detail oriented, and results focused
Strong technical competence and experience with Front-End Engineering (JavaScript / Ajax / jQuery, HTML/CSS)
Fluent in debugger tools like Fiddler 2, CharlesProxy or Firebug and good attention to detail
Proficient in SAINT classification
Analytical expertise with demonstrated data management skills
Experience in developing, implementing and enforcing data standards and operating procedures
Should be a great teammate
Knowledge of Google Analytics is an added advantage.
