Your mission is to ensure our IT colleagues worldwide possess the essential and future-ready skills needed to drive business results. This role is all about delivering impactful and innovative learning experiences directly aligned with IT priorities and the overall IT People Plan. Collaborate with HR, IT Leadership, senior sponsors, and subject matter experts to diagnose learning needs and deploy strategic solutions. Champion a global perspective, create consistent and engaging learning for IT employees worldwide, and seek opportunities to re-use, scale learning, and share best practices. Accountabilities:
- Lead development of learning plans for IT2030 Strategic Capabilities including Cyber & Risk and Scale & Speed.
- Own the final mapping and development of technical, people, and business learning for IT technical job families, ensuring relevant, engaging 3 E’s learning for IT career paths on an ongoing basis.
- Manage the Technology Academy in Degreed, being responsible for its re-design for re-launch in 2026 as the entry point for IT2030 learning and career-based learning.
- Lead Manager and Leader Capability Build in IT, including our successful quarterly people manager forum, working with Operations and Talent & Development to draw down on centralized programs.
- Oversee the AZ pilot of ‘coaching with impact’ in IT during Q4.
- Collaborate with the Operations & IT early careers team to identify priority areas for learning for our early careers population, acting as a consultant as they develop and deploy plans.
- Represent IT on Learning Forums to influence and shape approaches, sharing and learning from others, and seeking opportunities to pilot approaches aligned with priorities.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in leading Learning & Development diagnosis, initiatives, and delivery, preferably in a complex, global company.
- Proven work experience in a highly collaborative global, matrix environment, with a focus towards delivering positive business results.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with proven experience engaging with, and managing, multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Project and programme management skills to manage and deliver multiple pieces of work, flagging risks and adjusting priorities where needed.
- A high level of adaptability and comfort operating effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- Ability to identify and drive improvements using innovative thinking, technology, and data.
- Strong background in adult learning theory, instructional design, and digital learning platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in the integration of future-fit skills, talent strategy, competency modeling, and change management.
- Data-driven and experienced in leveraging learning analytics and metrics for continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in the development of 3 E’s learning plans.
- Experience with the Degreed Platform, developing and managing content.
- Understanding of the technology landscape inside and outside of AZ.
- Experience in the development of technical learning.
