Building Operations System & Analytics Systems Lead
Job Expectations:
- Operations leadership: Accountable for the effective, efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of BOS and integrated systems.
- Vendor and governance management: Manage relationships with key BOS vendors, ensuring delivery against KPIs and adherence to governance models.
- Project delivery: Lead BOS projects (upgrades, retrofits, and new installations) on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Analytics and insights: Analyze Smart Building data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities; provide actionable insights to FM leadership for strategic planning.
- Cross-functional teamwork: Partner with Operations Teams and collaborators to ensure full system integration and efficient operations; work closely with the BMS Lead to ensure building automation systems collect accurate, relevant data.
- Tools and dashboards: Develop and implement analytics tools and real-time dashboards for building performance monitoring and management.
- Energy and cost optimization: Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve energy efficiency through data analysis and system tuning.
- Continuous improvement: Establish and embed best practices for Smart Building analytics and data management.
- Technical enablement: Provide technical expertise and training to the facilities management team on analytics tools and methodologies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for building analytics and data management.
Essential qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in building analytics, data science, or related field with a focus on Smart Building systems.
- Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of building automation systems, IoT, data analytics tools, and software platforms.
- Impact orientation: Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Visualization and monitoring: Proven experience developing and implementing analytics tools and dashboards for real-time performance monitoring.
- Problem solving: Strong innovation perspective with excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of continuous improvement.
- Communication: Ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Standards and compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to Smart Building systems and data management.
Desired qualifications:
- Platform experience: Experience with Siemens BuildingX (preferred, not required).
- Site leadership: Experience collaborating closely with BMS/controls leads and facilities organizations to ensure data quality and integration.
- Change leadership: Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable building performance improvements and cost savings.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $89,874.40 - 134,811.60.Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
