Administrative Coordinator

AstraZeneca is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support global senior leaders and colleagues within our global Clinical Pharmacology & Safety Sciences organization. You will help coordinate calendars, meetings, travel and day-to-day administrative activities while working with colleagues across different locations and time zones.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide agile, high-quality support using sound judgement, strong influencing skills and a proactive approach when helping them facilitate their time. Our AI-forward team continuously develops smarter services using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft 365. We are looking for someone organized, proactive and interested in finding simpler and more effective ways of working through AI-enabled tools.
Key responsibilities
Manage complex calendars, travel, expenses and meeting coordination for senior leaders across multiple time zones.
Plan and support f-2-f and virtual meetings, including room bookings, agendas, presentations, notes, actions and hands-on meeting support, using Microsoft Copilot where relevant.
Provide administrative and coordination support for CPSS projects and global initiatives.
Create, organize and maintain documents, materials and collaboration spaces in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Teams. Arrange travel and expense reporting in Concur.
Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes by using digital and AI-enabled tools.
Build effective working relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders, using good judgment and a service-minded approach.
Support onboarding of new colleagues and act as a site contact and host for CPSS visitors.

Essential qualifications and experience
Experience in administrative coordination, executive assistance, personal assistance or similar business support rolesmanaging complex calendars, meetings, travel and administrative processes.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, inboxes and priorities across different locations and time zones.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and attend the office, on average, at least three days per week.
Desirable experience
Experience supporting senior leaders in a global organization supporting projects, events, onboarding or international teams
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools.
Experience using Coupa, Concur or similar business systems.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $67,952.00 - 101,928.00 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
