Job Title: HR Business Partner & Rewards Lead

Introduction to role:

The HR Business Partner & Rewards Lead is responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive people strategy while leading the design, governance, and execution of Total Rewards programs.

The role ensures competitive, compliant, and data-driven reward practices while supporting business performance, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Accountabilities:

Rewards Scope:

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and governance frameworks related to rewards and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with global or regional HR teams to align reward practices with company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with HR leadership, finance, and business leaders on reward strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and reward programs.
  • Support annual compensation cycles including merit increases and bonus processes.
  • Manage the company medical insurance program & work closely with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure service quality and cost optimization.
  • Administer life insurance policies, ensure employee awareness, and smooth processes.
  • Benchmark rewards practices to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Design and manage employee recognition programs that reinforce company values and performance culture.
  • Own and maintain the HR dashboard, providing data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Support digitalization and automation of HR reporting and reward processes.

HRBP Scope:

  • Partner with business leaders: Create market-specific people strategy priorities that reflect business ambition; identify needed capabilities, assess gaps, and support Talent Management and Talent Acquisition.
  • Lead effective change management to drive a highly engaged, performance-driven culture governed by our values.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and retention; promote and nurture company culture and values; implement diversity and inclusion programs; follow up on Pulse surveys, conduct focus groups, and liaise with COEs.
  • Drive and support cultural change plans and interventions; communicate changes effectively and address concerns to sustain adoption.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with local labor laws and regulations; provide guidance on employment standards and practices; address and resolve employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and facilitate effective communication; lead any local audit on the ground.
  • Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making; prepare reports and presentations on HR activities and initiatives for leadership; manage headcount reports and ensure monthly updates.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees; coach, support, mentor, and challenge managers in applying HR policies and practices; provide advice on complex HR issues to minimize risk and financial exposure; support managers in completing performance management.
  • Work closely with HR teams (COEs) for alignment and effective delivery; partner on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and onboarding, including candidate offers and follow-through; provide accurate data to the Reward Lead for budget cycles; liaise with Learning and Talent on development needs and coordinate programs.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience, including minimum 3+ years of solid Reward management experience, & solid HR Business partnering experience.
  • Strategic thinking with evidence of leading successful reward change programs.
  • Advanced financial capability, along with Data-driven decision making.
  • Evidence of building trusted business partnerships, with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence a broad range of partners.
  • Ability to propose/ build effective & innovative solutions within ambiguous and uncertain environments.
  • Can demonstrate solid understanding and application of risk management.
  • HR policy and governance expertise.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Masters, HR diploma is a plus.
  • People leadership skills.
  • Leading without authority.
  • Problem-solving.
