Manager, US Commercial Finance
This is what you will do:
Step into a pivotal role as the Manager, Commercial Finance and serve as a key finance partner for the US Commercial Business, enabling outstanding performance and financial management. This role supports Commercial leaders, Marketing Directors and leads finance business partnering for teams within the US Commercial Business. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of the US pharmaceutical operating model to drive impactful, data-informed decisions.

You will be responsible for:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare in-depth financial analysis of expense budgets (MTP / RBU), forecasts, and actual results for business stakeholders.
- Maintain applicable accounts and cost centers for the US Commercial Business, ensuring compliance with Group reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning and reporting processes.
Operating Expense Management
- Drive cost consciousness across the US Commercial Business and lead efforts to identify and implement cost savings.
- Partner with stakeholders to monitor spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the key Finance Business Partner to US Commercial Business Leadership team members for investment support.
- Partner with Business Sr./Directors supporting field sales organizations.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and synthesize performance reporting and analytics, translating results into actionable insights for senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead finance business partnering liaise with Global Finance Services (GFS) in Costa Rica to achieve business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align assumptions and embed insights into financial processes across the US Commercial Business.
Process Improvement & Best Practices
- Identify, design, and implement improvements in planning and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Promote best practices and standardization across the Commercial Finance organization.
You will need to have:
- B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of financial experience; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the US operating model.
- Excellent PC skills including Hyperion Planning, SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Anaplan, Qlik, and Power BI experience preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in working with and challenging senior management.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform in a teamwork-focused environment.
- Capacity to manage multiple and frequently changing priorities.
- Capability to meet strict deadlines with ownership and urgency.
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $91,662 to $137,492. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
