Accountabilities:
As a Territory Business Manager, the focus is on driving sustainable sales performance while acting as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals.
Day to day, this means implementing clear sales strategies and plans of action in line with company policies, then tracking territory performance and taking swift corrective steps where needed. The role leads the enlistment of newly launched and key products in hospitals and clinics, ensuring they are positioned appropriately in local treatment pathways.
Market and competitor analysis will be a regular part of the job, helping to uncover new business opportunities and inform your tactical choices. You will participate in promotional programs that raise product awareness and support evidence-based prescribing decisions.
Maintaining accurate customer classification, databases and call records is essential to keep activity focused and impactful. Throughout, the role demands high standards of professionalism and integrity, building trust by operating within the AstraZeneca Code of Conduct.
Continuous self-development is also key, actively identifying growth areas and working with your First Line Sales Manager to strengthen both scientific knowledge and commercial skills.
Essential Skills/Experience :
Graduate degree in Science/Pharma
Passion for Sales
Interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Good Planning and Organisational Skills
Excellent Scientific knowledge
Ability to develop Strategic Partnerships
