Programme Director - EMC

As the Programme Director for the Enterprise Medical Content (EMC) initiative, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining manual work and promoting content sharing across the enterprise. You will be responsible for the adoption and growth of all platforms and projects within the EMC initiative, aiming to achieve excellence across medical content development and dissemination. This role reports directly to the Digital Acceleration Snr. Director and involves close collaboration with various stakeholders.

Accountabilities:
Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, implementation, and scaling of EMC programmes. You will devise comprehensive business proposals and roadmaps, evaluate the effectiveness of current/new tools, oversee the lifecycle of POCs/MVPs, and manage hypercare activities. You will also be accountable for setting yearly forecasted budget plans and ensuring alignment with team and business priorities. Furthermore, you will collaborate cross-functionally to define and monitor KPIs, potentially develop training initiatives, and engage proactively with key stakeholders.

Essential Skills/Experience:
• BSc / MSc, preferably in a Life Sciences discipline 
• 8-10+ years of industry experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on experience with SaaS and cloud technologies, or data architectures preferred
• Applied experience and knowledge in structured content authoring (SCA) / component content management (CCM) system solutions
• Proven experience leading adoption of SCA / CCM platforms and other technology across medical teams and markets 
• Passion for innovation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Successful track record in driving innovative thinking and meeting business objectives
• Experience defining product requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, self-prioritise, think critically, analyse situations, deliver against aggressive timelines and adapt to change to achieve goals
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills and influencing abilities across organisational teams and levels in a large complex operating environment
• Ability to translate and present digital technology terminology into understandable business terms to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and act as an interface between IT, digital partners, and customer experience to scale and deploy digital acceleration initiatives

Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Strong creativity and attention to detail with a progressive 'visionary' mind-set to develop new approaches to tactical implementation for scaling digital initiatives
• Enhanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications
