Product Manager, Data Platform - Evinova
About The Role and The Project:
Evinova is a health tech venture, purpose-built to accelerate digital transformation in clinical research and healthcare. We deliver advanced SaaS platforms that combine pharmaceutical expertise, technical depth, and innovative analytics — enabling life sciences organisations to run smarter trials and improve patient outcomes at scale.
This is a high-impact product leadership role with ownership of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Evinova’s data platform. You will define how clinical and operational data is captured, integrated, managed, and delivered, directly shaping the infrastructure that powers Evinova’s products and its clients’ outcomes.
You’ll work at the intersection of complex stakeholder needs, data architecture, third-party integrations, and regulatory compliance — translating ambiguity into clear direction and measurable results. If you thrive on building platforms that others build on top of, and you bring both technical fluency and strategic conviction, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
Shape Platform Vision & Strategy
• Own and drive an innovation-focused product vision for Evinova’s data platform, balancing near-term delivery with long-term business priorities.
• Translate complex stakeholder needs (across clinical, engineering, and commercial domains) into compelling, market-driven roadmaps.
• Champion responsible innovation: define competitive differentiation through scalability, interoperability, and data quality.
Deliver AI-Ready Data Platform Capabilities
• Drive the design and delivery of platform capabilities that make Evinova’s clinical and operational datasets AI/ML-ready.
• Own the product backlog end-to-end: translate business requirements into robust epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide engineering delivery. • Define and enforce data quality standards, pipeline reliability, and integration performance across partner and internal ecosystems.
Lead Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong alignment across engineering, data science, regulatory, clinical operations, and commercial teams.
• Lead discovery and delivery sessions that bring diverse perspectives together and keep initiatives on track.
• Communicate product direction, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders and external partners.
Ensure Compliance & Regulatory Readiness
• Ensure GxP documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and completed on time.
• Apply knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements to guide platform decisions and mitigate risk.
Measure, Learn & Improve
• Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, integration performance, data quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Operate with an experimentation mindset: ship, learn, and iterate with velocity and discipline.
Required Skills:
• Demonstrated track record leading product strategy and delivery for data-centric SaaS platforms, ideally in life sciences or clinical research.
• Deep understanding of data architectures, pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP), and integration patterns.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML workflows and what it takes to make data platforms production-ready for model development.
• Experience with clinical and operational pharmaceutical datasets, interoperability standards (e.g. CDISC, FHIR), and regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Outstanding stakeholder communication skills — equally effective with engineers, data scientists, and senior commercial leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset, sharp business instincts, and a bias toward outcomes over activity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have:
• Experience in early-phase clinical trial operations, eClinical platforms, or regulatory submissions workflows.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, streaming data pipelines, or real-world data (RWD) integration.
• Prior work defining data standards for multi-party or partner-facing API ecosystems.
When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
