Global Specialist Training Strategy Lead
This is what you will do:
Alexion is a matrix organization focused on serving patients with rare diseases. As part of the Global Training Alliance, you will lead organizational excellence in learning and development.This role's primary responsibilities include developing the training framework for the Rare Disease Business Unit, coordinating with AstraZeneca learning partners, and leading commercial training of Therapeutic areas worldwide, for in-line and launch products.
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead development of the global training and development strategy for assigned TAs(Therapy Areas) for the commercial function.
Lead communication and cross functional alignment of training planning and execution of assigned TAs.
Drive efficient, compliant, and cost-effective commercial training content creation through cross-functional teams and (separate) teams of country training colleagues.
Ensure delivery ofaccountable training, including Foundation training, local training, competitor training and skills training aligned to strategy through the Global Specialist Training partner.
Ensure content creation, training strategy and execution is aligned with globalstakeholders and early launch markets during the launch period.
Ensure all training materials are up to date, approved and available for markets, and visible through a cross-functional annual training plan.
Continually develop the training framework for the Rare Disease Business Unit.
Define, source, and analyze feedback and lead development of success measures aligned with global and business goals to ensure training delivered is exemplary and constantly improveddefined bymetrics.
Continually horizon scan to improve training outcomes and keep up to date with adult learning methodologies and concepts.
Take steps to drive process simplification and identify and elevate areas of concern, for example delays in content delivery, misalignment of strategy, brand equity etc.
Establish a learning and development network specific to your TA across markets – aligned with medical and marketing teams.
Lead country network to identify and prioritize learning needs.
In addition:
Coordinate and lead Alexion & AstraZeneca learning partners for content and programs.
Collaborate with Global Medical Scientific Communications, Global Medical Training, Global marketing teams and the Global Competitive Response teams, the Global Training Alliance, country Training Leads and all cross functional teams to develop skills and capabilities.
Drive development and execution of cross-functional onboarding plans.
Collaborate with in-country Learning and Development Leads to establish global training needs and plan to meet those needs.
Identify, recommend, and lead implementation of Artificial Intelligence learning solutions, and progress to established training programs.
You may lead other training related projects, for example, driving Success Profiles, STEM research, use of Cornerstone to automate our processes, materials management, or translation services.
Ensure all programs & projects are delivered within budget & on time.
Drive a Learning and Development culture across the organization.
You will need to have the following:
Bachelor's degree in a Scientific, Business, or Finance-related field.
>5 years of adult learning delivery and leadership in pharmaceuticals.
>3 years’ experience inany commercial pharmaceutical role.
>2 years of field work experience, ideally in commercial pharmaceuticals
Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, PPT, VEEVA Promomats, Teams, Smartsheet, Microsoft Forms, Planner, and Tasks.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening English and Spanish fluency.
Ability to travel up to 30% (as per travel policy & business needs).
