Global Launch Readiness Lead, Hematology & Nephrology
Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Launch Leader to drive the successful market introduction of our upcoming indication expansions for Ultomiris in HSCT-TMA, CSA-AKI & IgAN. This role requires a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence, with a focus on aligning commercial objectives to ensure an impactful launch. The Launch Leader will be instrumental in activating countries, providing strategic launch guidance, and coordinating with various teams to oversee and execute launch milestones.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:Collaborate with strategic leads to implement launch strategiesthat align with global and regional commercial objectives.
Market Activation: Guide and support country team to prepare for launch, leading cross-functional meetings to ensure strategic alignment and operational readiness
Market Development: Support markets in pre-launch activities & engagements to shape the market and prepare the organization for successful launch
Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of launch plans through effective project management and operational oversight.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with business planning, supply chain, launch planning teams, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely product availability and support launch activities.
Milestone Oversight: Track and manage key launch milestones to ensure timely execution and identify potential risks or delays.
Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to assess launch success and inform future launch strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align expectations and drive successful outcomes.
Your role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong collaborative skills across global & country functions, ensuring successful launch outcomes. The position involves up to 15% business travel internationally and office presence minimum 3 days a week aligned with AZ policies.
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business area.
Excellent English communication both written and spoken
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience across sales, marketing, consulting, or project management.
Proven track record of driving multi-disciplinary initiatives.
Track record of product launches.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the rare Hematology and TMA conditions
Excellent strategic thinking and operational execution capability
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional, highly collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Customer focused, displayed by the ability to engage actively with the diverse needs of internal stakeholders, adaptable and flexible approach to meeting business needs
Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
