What you’ll do
This role is a key member of the Transformation Management Office (TMO) in Development Operations. The role is accountable for developing and implementing change management strategies for one or multiple ongoing initiatives within the organization. Works closely with the TMO team to ensure alignment of change impact across a portfolio of projects. Reports to the Director of Transformation Management.
- Provide change management leadership and support for major change initiatives
- Coordinate Change across a number of projects ensuring change is delivered in a coordinate way
- Partner with project leaders and project managers on successful delivery of the initiative
- Ensure adherence to company change management frameworks
- Perform change impact assessments to identify key risks and resistance to successful implementation
- Develop and deliver on comprehensive partner engagement, communications, and training plans to ensure project success
- Create plans for measuring adoption and success of change
- May run work with external service providers
- Participates in AZ project management and change management communities of practice to share standard methodologies and findings
Essential criteria
- Degree in business related field or scientific field
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
- Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
- Consistent record in delivering high risk programme/projects and decision making
- Ability to convince and run negotiations across a complex group
Desirable criteria
- Formal qualifications in change management, project management, and/or process improvement methodologies
- Experience of working in a global organisation with a complex/geographical context
- Pharmaceutical R&D experience
