Job Title: Data Scientist

Grade : C3

Shift: 2 pm to 11 pm IST

Role: Individual contributor role.

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.

Introduction to role:
Are you ready to dive into the world of commercial analytics and make a real impact? As a Data Scientist, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to tackle business challenges head-on using data-driven solutions. Your mission will be to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models, leveraging diverse healthcare datasets to uncover actionable insights and optimize business processes. 

Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Data Science team to identify and leverage internal and external data for business solutions.
- Support the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models tailored to business needs.
- Assist with large-scale projects using both online/offline, structured/unstructured, and set-top box data to build customer-centric models and optimization tools.
- Maintain and update scalable analytical models for recurring analyses and future use cases.
- Conduct analytics using HCP and de-identified patient-level healthcare data to generate disease insights and support lead generation.
- Develop machine learning models to analyze influences and interactions throughout the patient healthcare journey.
- Optimize existing and create new ML tools and models to improve patient finding and HCP identification processes.
- Apply predictive modeling to enhance customer experience, targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Commercial teams and the AI community to develop best practices and cross-functional, value-driving opportunities.
- Support ad hoc analyses and production operations as needed.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- BS/MS in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Economics, with solid foundation in statistical analysis and modeling.
- At least 5 years’ experience in statistical and predictive modeling, ideally within consulting, healthcare, or biopharmaceutical industries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep experience with analytic tools and languages, such as Python, Dataiku, Databricks, Qlik, and Power BI; strong familiarity with machine learning and AI methods.
- Proven skills in building and extracting insights from statistical models (e.g., linear regression, clustering, random forest, time series, and neural networks).
- Hands-on experience working with EHR, administrative claims, and laboratory data (such as Prognos, IQVIA, Komodo, or Symphony claims data).
- Technical knowledge of database structures, query languages, structured programming, and large dataset querying using ANSI SQL; experience with relational databases.
- Role is primarily office-based and requires use of a computer, communication via phone/video/messaging, problem-solving, collaboration, and general availability during standard business hours, with or without accommodations.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Ability to analyze and visualize data using modern data visualization techniques.
- Skilled in data manipulation, cleansing, and interpretation.
