ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Purpose:
As a Learning and Talent Management Manager, you will play a key role in driving the continuous development of employee skills and capabilities. This role is responsible for assessing current skill levels, identifying development needs, and implementing targeted learning and talent initiatives. By designing and executing effective programs, the role will support in enhancing on-the-job performance, supporting career growth, and ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coaching for Key Account Specialists, Executives, and First-Line Sales Managers (FLSMs), ensuring consistent quality and performance improvement through regular feedback and reporting.
- Design and deliver induction, refreshment, and ongoing curriculum workshops tailored to different roles, ensuring readiness and continuous development.
- Drive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through collaborating with line managers to identify learning needs and develop annual training plans aligned with business goals and team development priorities.
- Review and guide Individual Development Plans (IDPs), ensuring high-quality, actionable, and impactful growth initiatives across teams.
- Manage succession planning, talent gap identification, and workforce readiness for new launches using the 3E’s (Experience, Exposure, Education) development framework.
- Align learning and talent strategies with organizational goals, focusing on leadership development, employee engagement, and future skills planning.
- Build strong partnerships with senior leaders, department heads, and L&D teams to co-create targeted development programs and address capability gaps.
- Implement robust measurement tools to assess training effectiveness and ROI, continuously refining programs based on data insights.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and self-development, serving as a role model in personal growth and capability building.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and talent development to ensure programs remain cutting-edge.
Job Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) or any relevant scientific background.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Pharma industry, including at least 3 years in Learning and Talent management role, in Iraq.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for senior-level professionals.
- Proficient in English Language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Criteria:
- TOT certification is an advantage.
- Experience in social learning management and facilitation.
- Strong background in performance consulting to identify and address capability gaps.
- Ability to drive marketing engagement and internal communications for learning initiatives.
- Proficiency in designing learning solutions using the 3Es framework.
