Business Support Coordinator – Cell Therapy Discovery
Location: Amsterdam
Fulltime | Hybrid | 3 days in the office
As Business Support Coordinator (internal Administrative Coordinator) for our Cell Therapy Discovery team, you will support three senior leaders and their teams with the day to day coordination that keeps a complex, international environment running smoothly. At the same time, you will take ownership of several recurring operational processes that are essential to how the global Cell Therapy Discovery team works.
This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing clarity, structure and follow through. Someone who is comfortable managing detail, but also likes to step back, identify what could work better and help make it happen.
You will join a highly collaborative international setting and work across teams in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and your colleagues in the US. The scope is broad, the work is varied, and there is real room to shape how support and coordination are delivered.
What you will be doing
You will provide high quality administrative and operational support to leaders and teams across Cell Therapy Discovery. The role combines traditional coordination and responsibilities with broader ownership of several recurring team processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing complex calendars across multiples stakeholders, locations and time zones.
Organising meetings including scheduling, logistics, room bookings, virtual set-up and recordings.
Coordinating travel arrangements, reimbursement and even support.
Supporting senior leaders with their day-to-day administrative follow up and helping bring structure to priorities and actions.
Maintaining organisational charts, distribution lists and other key team information.
Acting as a reliable point of coordination for practical team support across different functions and locations.
In addition, you will take ownership of several recuring operational activities including travel & CO2 tracking, recruitment tracking & reporting, team process coordination and process improvement.
What you bring
We are looking for someone who combines strong organisation with sound judgment, professionalism and a natural way of working with others.
In addition:
Strong experience in an administrative, coordination or team support role in a fast-moving international environment (at least 3 years)
The ability to manage multiples priorities with care, accuracy and consistency.
Experience with complex diary management, travel coordination and meeting logistics.
Strong written and spoken English.
Confidence working with tools such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel in a professional setting.
A proactive and practical mindset: you take initiative, solve problems and keep things moving.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, functions and cultures.
The confidence to be helpful and collaborative, while also setting sensible boundaries and making clear priorities.
Interest in improving processes and making work more efficient.
Familiarity with AI tools, or a genuine interest in applying AI in practical day to day work.
You are currently living within commuting distance to our offices in Amsterdam.
