What You will do
As part of the high performing team, you’ll be applying your skills & knowledge to build your business and creating value to your customers through, multi-engagement channels (face to face and virtually). Our sales strategies are emergent to address the current needs and ensure relevance in the market. You will be part of the brainstorming and co-creating solutions for our customers and patients. As successful candidate will be engaging with General Practitioners on the exciting future of our Respiratory brands and form part of strategy execution. Your 6 weekly cycle country trip is Middleburg, Secunda and Standerton.
Typical Accountabilities
Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.
Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets are met or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Degree/diploma in the Life Sciences
> 3yrs, as a Sales Representative within the Pharmaceutical environment
Previous experience and knowledge of the area and customers in a multinational organisation
Proven sales and customer success record
Territory knowledge & trustful relationships with key HCPs
Strong analytical ability
Strong presentation skills
Excellent communication skills: clear and concise messaging
High learnability (incl. complex theory/science),
Ability to work closely in collaboration with cross functional business areas.
Valid driver’s license
Computer Knowledge (at least Intermediate)
